Rajinikanth has been sent a letter from Mastan’s foster son, who is Chairman of the Bharatiya Minorities Suraksha Mahasangh. In the said letter he has warned the superstar that the facts about his father’s life should not be distorted in the film and that the actor should be ready to face the consequences if Mastan and his actions are portrayed wrongly.
Now, Bollywood Life has procured a copy of the letter that was sent to Rajinikanth. Part of the notice read, “Recently I came to know through print media viz. Times Of India and Tamil Times that you along with Director Mr Ranjit are making a film on my Godfather Late Shri Haji Mastan Mirza’s lifeline or biopic, hence I am thereby sending you this notice” adding that ” I further state that you are depicting my Godfather and a well-known national political leader as a “Smuggler and an Underworld Don”, which are highly unacceptable and I strongly oppose such misinterpretation of my Godfather.”
