The C Times, 30 May 2017, Agartala: As decided earlier in the mass signature campaign launched by Tripura on May 16 for 7th Central Pay Commission, the BJP members today submitted a deputation to their respective sub-divisional magistrates across the state seeking appropriate and time-bound action for implementation of 7th CPC for state govt. employees and pensioners.
The statewide campaign was initiated by the BJP officials and led by Pradesh BJP president Biplab Kumar Deb as an effect of the state govt. denial of 7th CPC benefits to govt. employees and pensioners.
Pradesh BJP President Biplab Kumar Deb accused the CM Manik Sarkar run govt. of its inability to strengthen the economy and demanded immediate implementation of 7th CPC since this will not only end decade’s long deprivation and money flow in the state but also benefit all sections of the society and strengthen the backbone of the state economy.
And he also said that on the demand of 7th Central Pay Commission labelling it as a logical and legitimate right of the state govt. employees and pensioners.
As a part of the movement today’s deputation will be followed by a mass deputation to the DM’s of all 8 districts of the state on June 1, 2017, said Ramnagar Mandal President Ahsish Paul.
