The C Times, 7th June 2017, Agartala: Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad(ABVP) TripuraBibhaghas given their memorandum to The Principal of Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) At Kunjaban office for demanding cancellation and republication of shortlisted candidates for admission to 2-years B.Ed course.

As per the deputation, ABVP alleged the notification about the shortlisted candidate for admission to 2 years B.Ed course 2017 published on the official website of the I.A.S.E, Kunjaban, Agartala on 30-06-2017 would some serious problems, doubts and confusions that the present selection process of Institute has given birth to.

“The notification does not make it clear, on what basis these candidates have been selected. The notification published nowhere displays the marks obtained by respective candidates in the screening process, said Saruj Deb Secretory of ABVP, Agartala Unit.

He also mentioned that “Why the marks scored by the candidates have not been displayed against their name on the list. No way to know where the position stands on the list in terms of merit. Seeks clarification from the authority about the rationale behind the preparation of candidates’ list in alphabetical order. This raises serious questions regarding transparency of the selection process and the functioning of the institute. Hence we demand immediate cancellation and republication/ modification of the list of students along with marks as it is done.
