CBSE NEET 2017 Result Finally Announced: Check Out Your CBSE NEET Result

The C Times, 23rd June 2017, Agartala: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the result of National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 on the official website cbseresults.nic.in or cbseneet.nic.in.

In this year, a total of 11,38,890 candidates has registered for the examination, including 1, 522 NRIs, 480 OCIs, 70 PIOs and 613 foreigners and conducted in 10 languages at 1,921 exam centres a total of 103 cities across the country.

The result has been waiting for a long-drawn for every student, as the result scheduled to be declared on June 8, however, delayed after the Madras High Court made a stayed the declaration on a plea alleging lack of uniformity in the question paper.

The NEET common entrance examination was conducted on May 7 this year for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical and dental colleges. After the result declaration, the All India and State Level counselling will begin.

The Supreme Court permitted on June 12th to the official exam organiser of CBSE to declare the NEET result of Medical Entrance examination for the admission undergraduate courses across the country.

The student who will be in rank would be used for counselling purpose. The NEET exam was held for the admission to 65,000 MBBS and 25,000 BDS seats, but out of these, 15% seat will be in reserve for the All India Counselling and 85% seats will be filled through State Counselling and will be conducted by the state governments.

The counselling will be conducted separately by the (MCC) Medical Counselling Committee and All India and soon State counselling information will be made available on the MCI official Website.

How to check the CBSE NEET result through official Website

  1. First, log on to the Website nic.in or cbseneet.nic.in.
  2. Click on the CBSE NEET UG Result 2017 link.
  3. You will ask to enter the Roll Number and Date of Birth and then click the Submit button.
  4. The result automatically will display on the screen.
  5. Important: You should not forget to save and take a print copy.
