Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath visits Narsingarh Govt. Blind School

Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath on Thursday paid a visit to the infamous Narsingarh Govt. Blind School which was in news recently.

On 23rd June 2017, the hanging body of a blind student was recovered from the balcony of Narsingarh blind school. The incident had triggered huge resentment in the area.

The deceased was identified as Rakesh Sukla Das. According to the source, the deceased was staying in the school hostel.

It is to be mentioned here that the school authority had suspended the victim from the school for 3 months but the deceased family members have alleged that they were not informed about the suspension.

The other students of the school have alleged that Rakesh was going through tough time. However, on 23rd June Rakesh came out of the hostel and committed suicide by hanging himself in the corridor of the school building.

The incident came to notice in the early morning. On receiving information huge police force reached the spot and took a note of the incident.

The family members have alleged that the school authority is totally involved in his murder.  The police have arrested Subrata Choudhury warden of the hostel for interrogation.

Sri Nath also met the O/C Airport PS and enquired about the proceedings of the investigation. He asked the Officer in Charge to unearth every possible evidence related to the case and not to bow down to any external pressures. Finally, he has demanded a fair investigation on the case.
