Rally Organised By CPIM Divisional Committee to protest against IPFT State Wide Bandh on 10th July

A rally was organised by CPIM Sadar Divisional Committee to protest against the state wide Rail Roko and Raasta Roko bandh calle by IPFT on 10th July 2017 for indefinite period. The rally led by MP Shankar Pasad Dutta, MLA Ratan Das and Tripura CPIM spokesperson  Goutam Das started from rabindra Bhavan and marched across the heart of the city.

Sri Shankar Prasad Dutta has urged the sensible and responsible citizens of the state to come forward and raise their voice against the unjustified bandh.

One of the state BJP Leaders said that,” In West Bengal during the left rule bandh’s were a rule of the day  and in Tripura also CPIM run govt. have always encouraged unnecessary bandh’s for promoting cheap politics.  Before judging whether the bandh called by IPFT party is justified or not one should first discover the root of the problem. Why the IPFT party today is compelled to take such a decision? This is due to the continuous deprivation that they have been subjected to till date by the 24 year old left govt. The left govt. have always side lined the TTAADC areas by not granting them enough power. So naturally the govt. today is facing the consequences. Had the govt. been with the tribal people then this day would not have come.”

Yesterday in a programme at ADC capital Khumlung  BJP State President Biplab Kumar Deb said that,” Only seven months are left for the elections. He urged all the members and people of the state to be patient since history will be created after seven months. For the first time BJP govt. will be formed in the state. He also assured that after formation the BJP govt. will work for the socio-economic development of the ADC areas and added powers will be provided to TTAADC.”

Political analysts say that the left govt. has become nervous after sensing the end of their 24 year old rule and are therefore forced to go against their own ethics.
