How a private College can be the location of Government Regional Nursing College: says, Dr Ashok Sinha

An allegation of BJP state spokesperson Dr Ashok Sinha, “Tripura govt. submitted a project of Establishing Regional Nursing College at Hapania, with 61.84 cr. The question is raised that if TMC is a private college then how a private college can be the location of govt. regional Nursing College?”

Dr Sinha also alleged that TMC, Hapania is a private college then how can sate govt. recruit Doctors? A total confusion is going on in TMC. Health Minister also lied that no deputation is given to TMC professors, but the professors are enjoying GPF and EPF, and how it can be private College?

Dr Sinha added the Health Department under the supervision of Health Minister Badal Choudhury dad decided to set up Regional Institute of Nursing within the complex of TMC, Hapania to loot the sanctioned fund by the Centre.

He also added the BJP stat committee had written a letter to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to enquire about this matter as the State Govt. is playing a mischievous role in spoiling the future of students coming to study in TMC, Hapania.

Condemning the allegation raised by BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar, he has alleged that TMC is being run on teachers brought on deputation from AGMC during MCI visits. He also added the TMC authorities were looting Rs 5 lakh every year from students terming Tripura Medical College as a private institution.

Health Minister Badal Choudhary on 3 July, brushed off all allegation made by BJP leader Sunil Deodhar about irregularities in TMC and said that the party was trying into confusing students and guardians for political gains.

Yesterday, Dr Sinha added that the actual fact lies on the documents which reveal that the Health Department is cheating and playing with the future of students.
