BJP state executive meeting was organised July 23 at party’s state headquarter where party’s Northeast organisational general secretary Ajay Jamwal and Assam’s organisational general secretary Fanindra Nath Sarma was present along with state president Biplab Kumar Deb and central observer Sunil Deodhar.
Northeast organisational general secretary Ajay Jamwal expressed his satisfaction over the development and rises of BJP in Tripura. He said that “There is no place for assuagement. Our ultimate goal is a change in state government in Tripura and all India leaders of the centre party are ready for cooperation”.
“Political parties can launch agitation programme on their own demands but they should be within the systematisation structure. There had been a movement demanding Tipraland! The entire Tripura is Tipraland. Not only autochthonous people, we are also a son of the soil. Did we drop from the moon? Actually, the autochthonous people who had been bamboozled by the Marxists since long, are now demanding Tipraland”, state President Biplab Kumar Deb said while addressing the party’s executive meeting in the party headquarter.
The BJP state president said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been focusing on Act East policy. A special care is being given to the development of the Northeast region and this process will be a spunky transformation for Tripura in the days to ready”.
Central observer Sunil Deodhar straightforwardly castigated the CPI-M led Left Front government in Tripura and now it is just waiting for time to get a release from the authoritarian government in this state. He also added BJP would secure at least 50 seats out of 60 Assembly segments in the upcoming assembly election. He also accentuated the need to bolster the organisation at the booth level to take on the ruling front.
In this one-day long meeting, office bearer and core committee members, district presidents, general secretaries and presidents of all the seven morchas of the state were present.
