After much anticipated, the interview of 12,000 non-teaching posts has initiated on Tuesday via ‘Walk-in-interviews’ across eight District Education Offices. Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty on 27 May declared 12,000 non-teaching posts in Education Department to be filled up, consistent howbeit, State government has no money.
The post was periphrastically created for the 10,323 teachers who lost their jobs in a Supreme Court’s verdict on 29 March due to the recruitment policy violation by the Tripura State government, while appointing them. On this time Banamali Sinha was the Education Secretary and S K Panda was the Chief Secretary.
However, on 7 May 2014 Agartala High Court had cancelled the jobs of 10,323 teachers due to 58 deprived youth’s petitions. Guwahati High Court gave an option to Tripura state governments to save those terminated jobs by appointing also the 58 petitioners in Education departments as per their qualifications. But Tripura State government had challenged the HC order and later on 29 March 2017 State government had lost the case in Supreme Court.
On that times, the Opposition party’s leader has compelled Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s resignation for defoliation 10,323 descendants. Then instantaneously to emancipate Manik Sarkar’s face, the State government were created 12,000 non-teaching posts which teaching experience of 3 to 5 years as the eligibility.
A librarian degree holder could not apply for the vacant librarian posts and also Computer Faculties’ could not apply, whereas Computer Faculties’ have 5 to 7 years’ experience, just because the post was created for 10,323 terminated teachers.
On 27 June, School Education Department published the advertisement for the recruitment of 12,000 non-teaching posts in the vide No.F.1(1-20)SE/-E/G02017. The surprise able non-teaching posts are Academic Counsellor (1200 posts), Student Councillor (3,400), School Library Assistant (1,500), School Assistant (5,600) and Hostel Warden (300) with 5 years and 3 years of teaching experience, to save 10,323 terminated teachers, that propagated much antagonism among the seven lakhs of unemployed youths in state.
