Tripura RSS unit provided assistance for marriage to a deprived girl

The activists of Rashtriya Sayam Sebak (RSS) provided assistance for marriage of a deprived family girl in Santribazer subdivision, South district.

Nandita Baidya, an inhabitant of Ashram Tilla of Jalefa under Santirbazer subdivision. Her younger sister Mandira Baidya (18) came to her elder sister’s house after the death of her parents, when she was 8-years-old.

Mandira dropped out from school due to the weak financial condition of her elder sister. Nandita’s husband managed the expenses of the family by working labour. But Nandita couldn’t arrange a marriage of Mandira to the Poor financial condition.

At last RSS activists came forward to provide assistance to the under privileged family. Mandira Baidya Married with Carpenter Birjit Baidya (32), son of Gopi Baidya of Maicherra Bhatipara under Santirbazar subdivision with the financial assistance of RSS abiding by all social customs and rules.

The marriage occurred at the house of Sanjoy Chakraborty in Matarbari. The newly married couple went to Matarbari to get blessings of Mother Tripura Sundari.

RSS is a voluntary organization and it helps deprived people. With this target, RSS came forward to sponsor the marriage. Likewise, the organisation will also provide help to the needy people in future, said RSS worker Shyamal Debnath.

Mandira’s elder sister Nandita Baidya thanked RSS for the assistance.
